Der die Gipfel erklimmt,
In der Höhe sie streife,

Der die Schranken bezwingt,
Lass die Länder so grenzenlos sein.

Ich bin der Hauch,
Der durchstreift da dein Haus,
Wenn die Lichter vergehen,
Die Kerzen verwehen.

Ich bin die Bries',
Die da streift durch die Wies',
Wenn die Nebel sich lichten,
Die Wolken verdichten.,

Ich bin die Böh,
Die die Segel erfüllt,
Lass die Balken sich biegen,
Die Wogen bekriegen.

Ich bin der Sturm,
Hab die Sinne verlor'n,
In rastlos Wüterei.

Sag wo ich bin,
Sag was ich sah,
Sag mir den Sinn,
Sag was ich tat.

Wenn eure Namen klingen,
Dann hört ihr mich.
Wenn eure Fahnen wehen,
Dann seht ihr mich.
