The Voice Of Commandment

Tonight another round of
our favourite game will begin,
and the time will stand still as we move
into the right positions.
Only I and the voice of commandment
will see the day of tomorrow.
But no longer will the setting sun
be a beautiful experience as it used
to be. No longer will I embrace the
new found morning.
But only live the rest of
my life like the shadows on
the walls, imitating bypassing
individuals, just to stay alive.
